IRATA courses for operators, team leaders & coordinators
As a member of IRATA, C.R.I. organises training & exams for levels 1, 2 & 3.
C.R.I. is recognized as a training center by IRATA.
Level I: OPERATOR
- Accessible to everyone
- No experience required
Basic training covering all aspects of working safely with industrial rope techniques.
A level 1 operator always works under the supervision of a level 3 responsible.
Level II: FOREMAN
- 1000 practice hours
- 1 year level 1 experience
Advanced training with an emphasis on "rigging" & rescue techniques.
A level 2 takes responsibility for the team & always works under the supervision of a level 3.
Level III: SUPERVISOR
- 1000 practice hours
- 1 year level 2 experience
- First aid certificate
Specialized training with an emphasis on complex rescues, alternative rigging, responsibility & understanding of work situations.
Exam
After 4 days of training, there is an exam, administered by a recognized IRATA examiner.
Each exam includes an oral, theoretical & practical part.
Certification & recognition
Successful candidates will receive an irata certificate, passport & logbook. Each certificate is valid for 3 years.
Candidates level 2 & 3 must be able to demonstrate the necessary practical experience on the basis of their logbook.
